[With little else to do in the evening anyway, Savage had decided to head out and make his way to the agreed upon location. In retrospect, he probably should have specified a more exact part of the beach given how vast the Farther Shore actually was. Still, he found it easier to track people once he wasn't completely surrounded by the press of them in town proper.
As promised, he made certain to bring Ruin, his pet rathtar who was still growing and only the size a hay bale with a tentacle reach of eight feet. If anything, the beach provided plenty of opportunities for the rolling ball of teeth and tentacles to eat a bunch of clams or maybe a bird or two. He thought it was an endearing as a pet could get.
So he arrived to the beach by pushed through the Boardwalk and heading down further. He was a few minutes early, but he at least knew what Dirk looked like based on a picture. Human with hair, well-muscled and probably some shades. That was descriptive enough.
He wore his usual armour and his saberstaff was hanging from his belt. He spotted what looked like a human floating in midair that basically matched Dirk's description from the back. There was hair and seemed human and well-muscled. Good enough. Ruin, giving a hissy but oddly adorable squeak, sensed a shore bird and rolled off to chase it as he continued to lumber his way until he was standing next to where Dirk was floating.]

You are taller than my brother. He'd hate that.
