His eye colour wasn't the original one he was born with but a sign of the corruption of the Dark Side, and most beings didn't choose to get close enough to have a hard look at his eyes.]

I have ropes. Nothing too soft, but you aren't easily hurt so it shouldn't be an issue. And I don't care about pain much.
[He wasn't that interested in kicking Dirk out in the middle of the night. Besides, his legs wouldn't hang as much off of the mattress (but still did) if it was here. He would understand if it was too 'touchy feely' for the human.]
