I don't think I've met either, but I now intend to. Does this demon take over whenever he wants, or is there a manner to reach him?
[He could appreciate obedience as well, especially when it seemed to come with rewards in this case. His brother did seem to know how to meet with many of the right people of Trench.]
If he's so powerful, why hasn't he just taken over and done away with the 'gods' of this place?
(no subject)
He tends to come to the forefront when I am around because his host is too terrified to be in my presence for long. If you were to just call out his name while around the host, there is a good chance he will respond. Names are very important to him.
[Maul had learned a lot about how to deal with the demon. Not as much as someone like Luna or Constantine would know but enough knowledge to make the Zabrak interacting with Paimon a very dangerous idea.]
Oh, he's not as powerful as a god. But I'm certain he could so something like, perhaps, just kill a person with a single thought if he truly wanted to.
[Granted, so could Maul, but he was sure Savage could understand the difference he was trying to get at. Paimon was ancient and had power Maul had never seen before which is what made him so fascinating to the Sith Lord.]
Perhaps I shall introduce you sometime. He would be glad to know any kin of mine I am certain.
[He'd likely think Savage was some type of demon too. Maul was hardly going to dissuade him of the notion given how brutal he and his brother could act.]
Voice;
Is it like a jacket?
I can see that. I've never eaten cookies before... [There was a loud squeaky hiss then some crunching.] Ruin likes cookies.

Ah, so terrorizing this Peter is a good method to speak with the demon. How close is he to that demon in the old human meat suit? [He's talking about Michael. So far Michael had seemed laid back for what he had been told demons were about, even played hide 'n seek with him and Maul when they had been small.
He was already filing away that names were important and that stories would be welcomed as a way to open this demon up to potentially interacting with him further. He wasn't so certain what he would do with this Peter yet, so that would depend on meeting.]
Would he? It seems... worthwhile to have such an ally, does it not?
Voice;
A kimono? No, it's more like a fancy robe for men and women.
Do you like them? [She knows who Ruin is, but unless Ruin shows up, Usagi's focus right now is whether or not Savage likes or doesn't like something, not, once again, his brothers.]
Voice;
[He figured he'd ask. It wasn't as if he was given many gifts, let alone by a human before. He should probably put a touch of effort into learning traditions, and he knew Usagi would be honest about it.]
A fancy robe... I will be interested in seeing it.
[He was taking small bites of multiple cookies to taste them, feeding half of each to Ruin who was... not picky.]
The hard buttery ones are acceptable. [He means shortbread.] The others are sweet. I don't know.
Voice;
I have a couple, actually, Maul has a kimono too! [Since he got one from the spooky hotel.] So we can show you the male and female ones.
Shortbread, I'll keep that in mind, then!
Re: Voice;
[He supposed it was no different on Dathomir, though gift giving was a big part of their culture. The best idea of gifts usually were weapons and skills passed along.]
I'm sure I've seen it then. [One didn't live that close with someone and not discover all their clothing choices.] Is there a big difference between the genders?
Okay.
Voice;
Maybe! And it's mostly the designs that are different. It's more... how important is the occasion, cause that's what decides how fancy a kimono is. Like, just a daily kimono for men and women is pretty similar outside of the patterns and colors. But when they get super fancy is when they get super different. Here, one sec.
[Usagi sends Savage a picture of a causal womens kimono, a casual men's kimono, and then kimonos that might be worn for a wedding.]
Voice;
[He supposed he could understand that much better. Gift giving was a significant practice where he was from.]
Some of the style looks like the kind of outfits Jedi wear.

It took a moment for Maul to place which person Savage was talking about, loggy as he was with sleep. Sometimes it wasn't an advantage neither of them was in the habit of using names for people around them or even each other much of the time.]
Hmm? I am not sure. They have both been here long enough that I am sure they know of one another if nothing more.
[Actually, that was a very good question he'd need to ask Michael the next time he saw him. He would have asked Paimon but that would have been a very prolonged conversation given the demon's limited conversational skills.]
Very much so. He's growing more powerful and having such a being on our side would be beneficial.
(no subject)
After all, he had grown used to Maul snuggling in, metal limbs warmed by one another's body heat. If anything he used his metal prosthetic to fasten his older brother to him far more easily, since he could pretend he didn't feel any shuffling to get out from under it. It worked out well.]
The meat suit indicates he's been alive for a long time. He must know things about other demons, and he's usually talkative enough to potentially give details to how to make a bargain with one.
[It seemed reasonable, right? Especially if this Paimon wasn't the talkative sort compared to Michael. Either way, he definitely was considering finding this 'Peter' fellow and seeing what a potential ally was all about. It was better than the people of Trench that peeked in the windows to check if Maul was home to worship.]
We could mutually benefit each other. [He yawned and snuggled his nose against Maul's skin, breathing evening out as he fought to stay awake.]
(no subject)
[It would likely be soon. Maul would just need to make an excuse and go in for more clothing and then strike up a conversation with the ancient demon. He'd be bound to know more than what Maul himself had been ever to discover.]
Yes. Seek him out when you have time. He'd be glad to know of any kin of mine.
[It was time to go back to sleep. Maul's eyes closed and he adjusted himself so that he could be snug and secure sleeping with his brother curled up right there. The warmth from their combined body heat soon sent him off to sleep. The last thing he muttered was a sleepy:]
Merry Christmas, Savage.
(no subject)
Hmmm, I will. I'll get a description of the host later and see if I can find him. [Sometimes humans just looked the same; he tended to know them by scars or tattoos.
He yawned and hugged Maul closer to him, his hand still clutching one of the coins that he had been given. He hummed at the acknowledgement of Christmas and let his brother return to sleep before following suit.]
Voice;
I guess a little, yeah. Though Jedi tend to wear pants, plus, these are much more decorated. Actually, I never even thought of that, but yeah, just make Obi-Wan's robes a different color or with a pattern and it wouldn't be that far off.
Voice;
[He was keenly aware that he did many things that most would consider opposite to deserving. She was sometimes such a mystery, and it wasn't just that she was human that was bursting with the Force either. Something else.]
Those don't look uncomfortable to wear. I assume the Jedi wear such styles for movement reasons.
Voice;
[She's the moon, Savage, and literally has the moniker "Soldier of Mystery," you're absolutely right that she can be a mystery.]
Oh, actually I think they're super comfy! Others do too, some people only wear kimonos back home.
Voice;
I suppose...
[He was back to examining the picture that was sent to him about the kimonos.]
How do you run, climb and fight in that outfit?
Voice;
Voice;
[Definitely not something he'd want to wear. He was too active to have such limitations.]

[So the next few months at least.]

Alright, enjoy the cookies and the day, Savage, see you around.
