I guess a little, yeah. Though Jedi tend to wear pants, plus, these are much more decorated. Actually, I never even thought of that, but yeah, just make Obi-Wan's robes a different color or with a pattern and it wouldn't be that far off.

Practice, mostly. But they aren't really MEANT for that. But it's not impossible.

Walking, eating, dancing, sitting, really for everything and anything. You could just wear a hakama instead. But people fought or rode horseback or did all sorts of things in these traditional clothing.
