My brother took a violent approach, and he paid for it with his life. It upsets me that he left me behind.
[So yes, he was upset by the situation, and he couldn't say that he entirely understood it either. This was his first real experience with the full weight of Deerington's ability to mentally assault someone close to him.]
I just don't understand why you are approaching me.
[He didn't have friends, so the idea of common courtesy and emotional support didn't factor into his normal day.]
From what I understand, that was the brother I knew when we sailed the galaxy together. No one stood in his way long.
[He grunted softly, his version of agreement. He felt so lost with his brother dead, like his lack of personal goals meant that he was left twisting in the wind.
Wanted to know all about him? Sounded fake.]
There is little to know. I serve my brother.
[There was definitely more, but he considered Maul the more interesting of the two of them.]
Yeah. I was like that too. I didn't care who I killed and if they were in my way, they deserved it.
[It's just a sad way to live.]
He and I talked about that. I think he said I would make a good Sith?
[But since Siths don't really have friends...]
Your brother was trying to live in another way here. He opened himself up a little and found that people didn't hunt him down. It's okay to start over if you need it.
And do you still participate in such activities? After all, some people have death coming to them.
[He was still thinking of that idiot, Charlie, who crawled about in the dirt in a silly game of hide 'n seek.]
Sith focus more on gaining personal power and using their emotions as a weapon. They are able to form personal attachments, unlike the Jedi apparently.
[He wasn't a true believer in the Sith himself, but it was useful as a training base. He expected that Maul had already told this one such information, and he was just repeating to show he knew a few things.]
Ever since I was given power, I have been hunted. I don't believe that will change here.
I might if someone was enough of a pest. I have people to protect and I don't want anyone wrecking my home.
[Xue Yang has been known to cut out tongues and enchant people so they wander around like corpses. He even encouraged a fellow Cultivator to kill said people (despite them being very much alive).]
That sounds a lot more like me! [His emotions have always been sharp shards, ready to tear and stab and rip.]
Fair enough. From what I've seen, some pests just need to be crushed. People seem to feel differently here.
[He hadn't yet been pushed far enough to attack anyone, and he had been warned off of doing so. Still, he knew himself enough to know that he would and could attack someone sooner than later.]
You could be a Dark Side user as well. They too use their emotions. Sith have their secrets.
[He grunted acceptance but he thought he would wait and see.]
Yes, this is true. It's easier to allow others to be sent out to spill blood while they prattle with barely useful words and ideas.
[Savage was technically in his prime, having just recently been killed back on Mandalore. He found being a warrior was something that he could be good at if he didn't completely tunnel vision. That could be tricky when he was angry.]
Sith are different. They pass their secrets only to their apprentices because otherwise they all eventually turn on each other and it becomes some kind of self-destructive all out war on each other and everyone else.
[Or something. His brother gave him the history of the Sith, but sometimes, he just liked the quiet. Or mostly he didn't consider himself Sith.]
I suppose so. Such a strange offer out of no where.

Checking on you, I guess? What happened shouldn't have happened. I'm sorry.
Voice;
Shouldn't you be saving this apology for my brother? I'm functional and awaiting my brother's return date.
Voice;
You're not upset? At what happened?
I would be.
Voice;

Voice;
Maybe he had to die for it to stop, I don't know. I wish that hadn't happened.
[Xue Yang would've much preferred chains and some kind of...sealing spell.]
I like Maul and you're his brother! I wanna know all about you too.
Voice;

I won't hunt you. I'll help you if you like?

I don't currently require assistance.
Voice;
[He's welcome to work off some aggression with this one! Though Xue Yang isn't in the best of shape thanks to his life and Deerington.]
Everyone has secrets. Even the best of men have things they don't want to discuss. I get tired of people pretending they are completely honest.
[Except for his daozhangs. They get a pass.]
If that changes, let me know?
